Thursday 28th March 2019 5:30pm – 7pm
Speaker: Bill Mitchell
Bill Mitchell MA PhD Dip Psych is probably best known for barristers as the voice of the Wellbeing at the Bar’s “Staying Well” infographic video here. He is a clinical psychologist who works with contemporary cognitively based psychological approaches to treat anxiety states, depression, stress reactions and chronic fatigue states. He has a particular interest in treating work-related psychological difficulties, recognising that many people work in circumstances that can easily lead to the loss of any balance to life, which increases the potential for them becoming exhausted or ill.
During the seminar we will hear from Bill Mitchell about managing pressure, with a chance for Q&A. PNBA and LCLCBA representatives will talk about their respective approaches to wellbeing. Members of both Associations are warmly invited to stay on afterwards for drinks and socialising.
