Autumn 2022 PNBA Seminar dates

We have a number of seminars planned for November and early December,

Next up are three online seminars which are open to all PNBA members and their pupils.

Thursday 8th Decemberonline at 5.30pm. – “Construction Claims – Topical Issues” Simon Arnold and Alexander Echlin. Members can find details from this seminar on the Lecture Archive pages.

Thursday 15th December – online STARTING AT 5PM – “How to fight (and how not to fight) a surveyors’ or valuers’ negligence claim”Simon Wilton and Heather McMahon of Hailsham Chambers

At these seminars you will hear the latest word on some significant areas of PNBA practice:  surveyors and valuers, construction claims and limitation.



On Tuesday 15th November“Privilege and without prejudice issues in Professional Liability Claims”. This seminar was held in person at Quadrant Chambers and was chaired by The Hon. Mr Justice Soole. The speakers are Alison Padfield KC, Thomas Grant KC and Tom Asquith.

Here are the titles of their talks:

Alison Padfield KC – Liability insurance – privilege & the joint retainer by insurer & insured.

Thomas Grant KC –  Without Prejudice Privilege and the Unambiguous Impropriety Rule.   

Tom Asquith – Candey v Bosheh – the Iniquity Exception
